We are planning a trip to visit my brother and his family in Virginia this summer. (Before my dad died, I promised I would take Mom to see him.) We want to find the most direct route and I want the motels we stay in to have an indoor pool. Our traveling is nothing like the attitude Abraham had…and he was moving, not visiting!
Hebrews 11:8, “[Urged on] Abraham when he was called, obeyed and went forth to a place which he was destined to receive as an inheritance; and he went, although he did not know or trouble his mind about where he was to go.”
I need to be more like Abraham. I have been concerned because taking this trip may require a higher dose of steroids than I have used before. I will be taking all sorts of precautions. I need to get to the place where I do not “trouble my mind” about it.
